PA Compact Legislation

Greetings,

I really enjoyed celebrating the 50th anniversary of our Academy with everyone who attended our Fall Conference at the Grand Traverse Resort. At our Issues and Answers Forum, PAs wrote 131 letters to their State Senators in support of our PA Compact legislation. I'm asking those of you who weren't at the forum, to do the same - see below.

My name is __________________, PA-C, and I am a Physician Assistant practicing in your district at __________________. As a PA, I provide essential patient care in our community, often serving on the front lines of healthcare delivery.

I respectfully urge you to support the PA Licensure Compact (HB 4309). This legislation will streamline licensure, reduce barriers to practice, and help ensure Michiganders have prompt access to quality healthcare—especially in underserved areas.
