Membership Types

By applying for membership in MAPA, if accepted, members agree to abide by the bylaws and PA code of ethics. Copies of bylaws and PA code of ethics are available upon request or on the MAPA website. MAPA is organized under section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code. Due to lobbying activities, 25% of dues are not tax deductible. Federal Tax ID: 41-1312088

Fellow - Auto-Pay

A certified PA within the state of Michigan. Annual dues are $171 for those who choose to store a payment method and have it charged automatically on your renewal date; that's a 10% discount!

Fellow

A certified PA within the state of Michigan. Annual dues are $190.

1st Year Fellow

A first-year post-graduation PA. Eligible members receive a 50% discount ($95) on the Fellow rate. Renews to a regular Fellow membership after the first year.

Student

Student of a Board-approved PA program in the state of Michigan. One-time dues payment of $40 for the entire student status. You must provide your pending graduation date to receive this multi-year membership.

Associate

A PA who resides outside of Michigan. Annual dues are $115.

Affiliate

Any non-PA or non-PA student with a professional interest in the PA profession. This includes students who are planning to apply to a PA program. Affiliate members are not eligible to claim CME. Annual dues are $65.

Retired

Any PA who has retired from the PA profession. Retired members are not eligible to claim CME credit at the annual conference. Annual dues are $49.
