The Michigan Academy of Physician Associates invites you to the MAPA Capitol Summit, a premier event connecting PAs with Michigan legislators to advance patient access and PA practice. Participants will network with colleagues while working in small groups alongside experienced PAs and professional lobbyists, meeting directly with legislators who vote on issues affecting Michigan PAs’ ability to practice medicine and sharing real-world clinical perspectives to help shape healthcare policy.

Hotel
We have secured a small number of hotel rooms for those traveling from farther in the state. Below is information on the hotel and how to make a reservation:
To make a room reservation, please click on DoubleTree by Hilton Lansing
- Once you select the room type, complete the Hotel Booking Form.
- For date adjustment needs, please change the Check-in and Check-out date box at the top of the site.
- The booking form will ask for the guest's details and email address.
- The secure payment option is the section of the booking form where you enter your credit card details. Input your credit card information.
- Once you have completed this step, click the “Make Reservation” button, and your reservation will be sent to the Hotel immediately.
To make a room reservation by phone call 1-833-904-2206, and reservations can assist with securing rooms. It is important that each of your guests identify themselves as part of the Michigan Academy of Physician Associates Capitol Day group and provide reservations under the code “905” to receive the discounted group rate. Please ensure your reservations are made before the cutoff date of 03/16/2026.
