Marc J. Moote, MS, PA-C is currently The Chief Physician Assistant (which has grown to over 400 physician assistants) for the University of Michigan Health System with a clinical appointment in the Department of Urology. Previous clinical roles include U-M Multidisciplinary Liver Tumor Clinic, U-M General Surgery, William Beaumont Surgical Services and Providence Family Care/Infinity Primary Care, while prior administrative responsibilities included medical staff leadership oversight for the credentialing and privileging for all physicians, PAs, APRNs, oral surgeons, podiatrists, optometrists, general dentists and more within the U-M health system.
In addition to these activities, Marc Moote, PA-C has been active in quality improvement and patient safety, serving on numerous safety related committees, including chairing UMHS VTE Prevention Committee since its inception in 2009 until 2021.
