Janell Colao

I work in Battle Creek at the VA on the inpatient mental health unit and live in the Kalamazoo area. After 17 years as a PA, I became the Region 4 Rep to give back to the community and advocate for the profession. The best part of being a MAPA member is meeting and building relationships with PAs from across the state.

In my free time, spending time with my husband, two stepkids, and our Silver lab. We love I enjoy working out, hiking and spending time outdoors. I also enjoy baking and doing jigsaw puzzles.
