The purpose of this webinar is to educate practicing providers and students on healthcare fraud and kickbacks, an area not well discussed in educational programs.  Specifically, to define terms related to healthcare fraud and kickbacks, help participants identify areas commonly infiltrated with fraud and how to identify "red flags", and lastly provide resources for participants to self-educate and where to follow up on any concerns or questions they may have on the topic. Those in attendance will also gain a strong sense of the real value of a medical license and be encouraged to practice with awareness to medical business.



  1. Define and understand key terms related to healthcare fraud.
  2. Recognize 3 common areas infiltrated with fraud schemes and be able to identify red flags for illegal and unethical activity in these areas.
  3. Obtain resources for further self -education on the topic, to report activity, or to seek legal advice.


Speaker: Natalie Dillman, PA-C

Natalie has a B.S. in Pharmacology & Toxicology from the University of Wisconsin Madison- School of Pharmacy and a M.S. in PA Studies from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. While in Michigan, she worked in Family Practice and Pain Management upon graduation in 2008.  In 2012 her career was halted, and she is here today to share her experience.She has lived in Northwest Indiana and worked in the Chicago area since 2013.  and is the Assistant Medical Director for the Associated Medical Centers of Illinois. She is licensed as a PA in the State of Michigan and has PA licensure in Illinois pending. Natalie is an advocate for understanding the value of a professional license and delivering proper education on the topic of healthcare fraud and antikickback laws.  She has spoken previously at events and to programs throughout the state, most recently the Fall CME conference and we are happy to welcome her back.
